Fight Human Trafficking
LIAISON has zero tolerance for human trafficking, exploitation, or any form of coerced activity. We are committed to combating trafficking and protecting the safety of all individuals.
Our Commitment
LIAISON actively works to prevent its platform from being used for trafficking or exploitation. Our measures include:
- Identity Verification: All providers must submit government-issued photo ID and pass manual verification before their listing is published.
- Age Verification: All users must be 21 years of age or older. Date of birth is collected at registration and verified during the application process.
- Content Moderation: All profiles are reviewed for prohibited content, including language associated with coercion, trafficking, or exploitation.
- Automated Screening: Our systems scan profile content for terms and patterns associated with trafficking indicators.
- User Reporting: Any user can report a profile for suspected trafficking, underage activity, or exploitation using the "Report Profile" button on any listing.
- Cooperation with Law Enforcement: We respond to valid legal process and cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations. See our Law Enforcement Policy.
- Record Retention: Identity verification documents are retained in compliance with federal record-keeping requirements.
Recognizing the Signs
Trafficking victims may not self-identify. Be aware of these warning signs:
- The person appears to be controlled by someone else (a "manager" or "handler")
- The person cannot speak freely or appears coached in their responses
- Signs of physical abuse, malnourishment, or exhaustion
- The person does not have possession of their own identification documents
- The person appears fearful, anxious, or submissive
- Inconsistencies between the person and their posted photos
- The person mentions owing a "debt" or being unable to leave
- Multiple listings using the same photos with different names
How to Report
If you suspect trafficking or exploitation on this platform:
- On the platform: Use the "Report Profile" button on any listing and select "Suspected Trafficking"
